Hunter grew up in Peoria, Arizona where she played club and high school softball. In highschool she had the opportunity to help launch, and student lead, FCA on campus where her passion for FCA began! Hunter continued her softball career into college, where she was a pitcher for the University of Northern Colorado and active member of the institution's FCA program. Hunter was a guest speaker at multiple FCA events at various high schools in Colorado and Arizona. At an FCA Summer Camp her Sophomore year in Colorado, Hunter found a passion and a desire for leading high school students through ministry. Due to an illness, Hunter retired from softball after her Sophomore season and moved to Meridian, ID. Once in Idaho, Hunter completed a two year internship at Capital Church, began coaching softball at Bishop Kelly High School, and began serving in High School Youth Ministry. In August 2021, Hunter got married to her husband, Nathan, and in July 2022 they welcomed their first son, Titus, into the world. In addition to youth ministry and FCA, Hunter is a local birth and postpartum doula, helping families, in prayer and worship, to bring their babies into the world! She felt the call to join the FCA staff and got hired in the Summer of 2023. Hunter is excited to help continue building the Kingdom and bring more athletes and coaches to know Jesus!
