2011 FCA Bowl Breakfast
@ The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl - Boise, Idaho
Friday, December 16th - 7:30-9am - Boise Centre in downtown Boise

Come join us Friday, December 16th at 7:30am for the FCA Bowl Breakfast. We'll have athletes and coaches speak from the MAC and WAC Teams who are playing in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl as well as Former NFL Player, Eric Boles, our Keynote speaker.

More on the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

Eric is a former NFL Player with the Packers & the Jets! He also played at Central Washington University with Jon Kitna! Eric was one of our incredible FCA Camp Speakers back in June 2011 at the NW FCA Sport Camp held in Nampa, Idaho at Northwest Nazarene University! He is also an associate pastor at Life Center Church in Tacoma, Washington. Eric is a Christian speaker whose love for Jesus is contagious! He speaks across the nation.

Eric is a speaker and consultant for Starbucks Coffee, Boeing, Microsoft, Alaska Airlines, AFLAC, Dunkin Brands, US Air Force, and the US Army Rangers to name a few! His desire is to reach people beyond the normal, to encourage believers and excite non-believers to come to the Loving Savior Jesus Christ.

The last 6 years at the Breakfast we've been challenged by Pro Bowler & NFL Super Bowl Champion Norm Evans;  FCA President & former NFL Coach, Les Steckel; Pastor & former NFL Linebacker Ken Hutcherson; Nebraska Assistant Football Coach, Ron Brown; Pastor & former Seattle Seahawk David Hughes and former Redskin & Raider Jay Schroeder!

This year's FCA Bowl Breakfast will again be at the Boise Centre in downtown Boise (9th & Front). Please download the Bowl Breakfast Flier below for more details!

    Community Ministry

The dramatic growth of club, league and church sports, presents a significant opportunity for FCA.  The FCA Community Ministry includes our non-school-based FCA Ministries which are made possible through partnerships with local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers.  To address this opportunity, we've established many sports-specific ministries with FCA including golf, lacrosse, baseball, motocross, fitness and endurance.

These ministries not only reach out to the community, but also allow the community to invest in athletes and coaches.

Community Ministries include: Stewardship Ministries, Adult Ministries, Sport-Specific Ministries, Membership, Urban Initiatives, Global Sports Development, Clinics, Product and Resource Development, and Professional Athlete Ministries.

    FCA Parent Booster Clubs

    FCA Parent Booster Clubs
    -
We have an opportunity for Parents to serve in their local area by forming an FCA Parent Booster Club for their High School or Middle School. This group would meet once a month. There would be 3 main purposes in gathering:
    1. Pray for the Coaches at their school.
    2. Pray for the Athletes at their school.
    3. Pray for the FCA ministry at their school.

The above objectives center on prayer to our Father for the coaches & athletes at their local schools. The FCA Booster Club is welcome to do more like:
    * Provide food for student-athlete huddles & events.
    * Help provide FCA Resources (Bibles, devotionals etc. for the FCA ministry at their school).
    * Transportation to Church & FCA events.
    * FCA Summer Camp Scholarships.
    * A supportive role to the FCA Huddle Coach & Student Athlete Leaders at their schools.
